About

I'm a geeky farm girl with a lot of hobbies that involve either computers or animals. I grew up at Old Willow Farm, named for the century-old willow in the middle of the property, where at one time or another we raised just about everything: cats, dogs, chickens, geese, goats, horses, cows, and pigs.

I picked up a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Houston, which turned out to pair well with a strong talent for computers. I enjoyed building webpages for a while, and that led to 3D graphics and a small design business of my own.

I also earned a Master of Science in Information Security & Assurance, finishing that up just before my firstborn's first birthday. I have two kids, cats, and livestock. My husband is a nationally best selling SF author.

After that came nearly three decades in cybersecurity: security architecture, security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management. These days I use that background, together with my financial work, to help businesses see their numbers and their risks clearly. That's what Firehazel Services is for, and Trade Profit Blueprint is the version built for skilled trade companies.

I also go by Sidial or KeepersHeir, depending on the community. If we've met under one of those names, hello again.
